Tiffany Joy Basse is an Impact Investor, serial Bay Area technology entrepreneur, and Business 3.0 Consultant for early-stage tech startups. As the Managing Director and Co-Founder of the OM Fund, she adheres to three core impact investing principles: Profits, People, and Planet. OM Fund channels investments into conscious startups that are committed to improving lives, restoring the environment, and maintaining a viable business model.
Tiffany is former Founder and CEO of Fintech company MsMoney.com. She hired and led a team of 100 to create women’s financial empowerment tools, education, and services. MsMoney.com partnered with giants like Citibank and Wells Fargo reaching 10 million customers. Tiffany was a frequent live TV guest covering financial topics, hosted a radio show on money, and was featured in Forbes, Fortune, WSJ, USA Today, and CNN.
She has extensive startup consulting experience having advised, mentored, and consulted with over 100 startups in the last 20 years through women’s tech accelerator and VC fund Astia (astia.org) and through the startup accelerators she founded (floripatech.com. startupgo.co, startuptv.us).
Her recent studies at Wharton and MIT (2022 /2023) and other educational learning opportunities were focused on fintech innovations in the Metaverse economy, AR/VR design, and AI technologies for Business 3.0.
Tiffany has a Bachelor’s in Business and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, which served as a foundation for her first successful tech startup when she was 27 years old. She founded a website design, development, and marketing company that had Fortune 100 clients: AOL, Microsoft, Xerox, Bechtel, and Sun Microsystems.
